“Crossing“ : Kunstprojekt für neue Lebensstrategien

The experience of the strong, untouched nature here confirms me to dedicate my work to the intention finding sustainable life strategies by crossing borders. I am looking forward to make interviews with the other artists to learn about their individual working methods and thereby to find new ways of connecting with the world through art. The results will be published here. We start soon. Meanwhile 14 artists work together in a former fish factory directly on the sea. It is unusual and inspiring to accompany other people so close to their work processes. It a great possibility and gift. I am grateful.

on your place, the eurasian plate drifts apart from the american plate.
How can artists intervene?

Icelanders emphasize that it is reading that has allowed them to connect to the rest of the world. So literature, art has inspired the progress and the connection to the events of the world. With the unique situation, this eruptive, uncertain island, it is important to explore how a friendly living together is possible and so enormously successful!
